MIG Welder Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.50 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 05:00am to03:30pm )
MIG WELDER
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understand and follow all company policies.
- Ensure parts are produced to print.
- Fabricate metal products per technical drawings or customer-provided samples by welding/cutting/fabricating various materials.
- Must have experience in welding mild steel and stainless steel.
- Operate/maintain electric hand/pneumatic power tools, i.e. grinders, sanders, needle guns, drills, saws, metal shears, etc.
- Must be able to perform visual weld inspections.
- Must be able to work in a production environment with a wide range of part quantities.
- Must be able to set up weld machine according to the type of material that is being welded.
- Complete all required paperwork in a correct and timely manner.
- Must maintain a clean and safe work environment for all employees and be able to work overtime as needed.
MIG Welder Qualifications:
Skills and Specifications:
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows or similar operating systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Selection/use of monitor/measuring equipment.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for 10 hours per day.
- Annual vision screening.
- Good physical health.
- Not taking any medications that could adversely impact the ability to operate machinery or equipment.
- Able to follow instructions as directed by the supervisor.
- Flexibility for bending, pulling, and turning.
- Ability to lift to 75 pounds regularly.
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
