Press Break Programmer Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 / hour Full Time work availableVarious shifts available ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to11:00pm )
- Plan and layout parts, determining the most efficient sequence of operations while applying knowledge of trigonometry, material thickness allowances, and the physical properties of different metals.
- Set up and operate a variety of fabricating equipment, including press brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, and drill presses.
- Design and build templates and fixtures for accurate part production.
- Inspect and verify part conformity using precision tools such as squares, rulers, and measuring tapes.
- Collaborate with the team in the fabrication and assembly of sheet metal products when necessary.
- Set up and operate additional machine tools as needed, including radial drill presses, end mills, and edge planes.
Press Break Programmer Qualifications:
- Proven experience with press brake operation and sheet metal fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in selecting and adjusting dies, force parameters, and programming machines to meet product specifications.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
