Shipping Clerk ** HOT JOB** Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
16.00 to $ 19.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
- Responsible for routing outbound freight to assure delivery as required; monitors carriers performance.
- Maintains shipping and receiving logs and maintains files of shipping records.
- Processes loss freight or shipping damages claims. Verifies freight bills with accounting and resolves errors with carriers.
- Takes finished orders after final quality control inspection and wraps and packs in containers as per required standards.
- Prepares packing lists, bills of lading, and other shipping documentation as necessary.
- Supervises loading and unloading of all delivery trucks.
Shipping Clerk ** HOT JOB** Qualifications:
- 1-3 years’ experience with shipping environment is preferred, but will train on their system
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent organizational skills
- Computer and math skills
- High attention to detail
- Sitting or standing for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
