Operations Manager Details:

  • Direct Hire position
  • $125,000.00 to $150,000.00 /annually
  • First Shift
  • Manage an efficient flow of goods to ensure optimum production
  • Revamp and create new purchasing procedures and standards
  • Continue to establish and develop all areas of the Service Department business
  • Act as a point of contact between the company and suppliers
  • Job Costing/Creating reports for individual PMs and mentor them to track costs
  • Assist PMs with their monthly Schedule of Values
  • Attend all mandatory meetings
  • Project Manager reviews (work with HR)
  • Ensure PMs are keeping up on duties, complete weekly job site reports, complete weekly recaps
  • Maintain department reports and records/personnel files
  • CITC enrollment and record keeping
  • Negotiate contracts, terms and deadlines with vendors and suppliers
  • Order office supplies
  • Purchase Orders - Manage and review purchase order logs to ensure accuracy and job costing
  • Billings - prepares monthly billings that are timely, complete, and accurate.
  • Job Costs - as applicable, reviews monthly job cost reports to manage/track labor-material costs
  • Oversight and ensure all timecards for submittal for all locations
  • Assist in the new hire process - ensure paperwork is complete and sent to WA
  • Creates employee files, updating information when needed.
  • Keep vehicle/fleet record files and assists with keeping tabs current.
  • OSHA record keeping and reporting

Operations Manager Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of Operations Management experience preferred
  • College education preferred but not required
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel. And Outlook
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
